    Hello guys !
    Another question from Belgium :)
For my Small Block 283 V 8 i am looking for some spark plugs.
In Belgium you can get them but i need the wright ones from Champion,NGK or Bosch...
Does anyone know the wright number ?
In the old motor i have found Champion L 86 C spark plugs.
Are they ok or are there better on the market ?
Thanks and......i know it is a little bit to late.......
    Happy Newyear:eek:

Hi Johan, another good spark plug to use is AC DELCO number #R45S, had good luck with them too.Make sure parts store writes down the gap to set you plugs on,got mine at 0.035.

Dijoo, I'm sure the parts stores use books with crossover numbers from AC to what you have available to you. The range on the AC plug runs from AC 43 (cold commercial plug), AC 44 (engine in like new shape), AC 45 (good all around plug), and AC 46 (hotter plug for engine that uses a little oil). These are the base numbers and there will be other letters like "R" or "TS" to designate a resister or a tapered shoulder plug, but with the base numbers they should be able to crossreference to other brand plugs. Good luck.

Hi there, thanks for the tips you guys gave.
The parts shop did not have the AC Delco plugs.
In the book from the shop the crossover numbers where for some NGK plugs the same as the Champions that where before in my old engine from California.( i bought the Chevy in California-San Jose- and is beeing transported to Belgium, they where never on the European marked and is a verry special truck here).
Thanks again and have a great week-end
    Johan :)
