need spare tire holder assembly help on 1950

Trying to assemble spare tire carrier parts that came with the truck, there is a slide type bar apparatus mounted to chassis and then I have a long 3 ft or so piece with a J bolt in it that appears to be the lower tire rest on piece, then two other brackets, one a small bracket with round side to it, and the other bracket about 18 inches that has two mounting holes that line up with the smaller round brakcet piece, I have the chevy assembly manual and shop manuals for this year and they show an entirely differrent set up, I think this is some kind of swing down and to rear appartus, any help or drawing of how it goes together and works will be greatly appreciated

check the archives. i'm pretty sure someone put up a link to some diagrams on these things.

found another picture of the pieces bolted together now I will try to make sense of mine
