These guys can make any year and text of license plate you specify.

I am thinking that as long as your state allows YOM plates.... you can go to the DMV... get a regular modern plate & then have these guys crank you out a correct YOM plate using the same modern plate number....
    Who's gonna know ?

I notice that California is conspicuously missing from the listings so, there may already be a law in Californication prohibiting them from cranking out replacement plates in the state

    Jeeze joe ;

It's a little early in the AM for yet another of your drunken envious rants , isn't it ? .

Once again you claim to know all when I'm just relating things that actually happened .

    :p

    Kinda pathetic .

Thanks to those who posted relevant info. It will be helpful in our attempt to get vintage only plates approved here.

I wanted to know how other jurisdictions handles this issue so I have info our regulators can refer to.

Heck, Bill, If I was capable, I'd hitch a ride with ya' for a road trip... but alas, I'm not quite ready for travel yet. Next time maybe. Have a safe trip. I'd like to get a couple of pictures at 'your' farm, too! We may need to start collecting pictures for a Forum Calendar for next year?:)

I already submitted a set for the OldGMCtrucks calendar. Won't know if mine is selected until November.

The first Saturday night shine & show is set for Mar 1, about a mile down the road from my house. How about we convoy over? Maybe we can get Ken to unwrap one of his

But maybe I should quit ragging on Ken. He was nice enough to accompany me on a trip to a junk yard this morning. Scored a scissors jack and handle to make my truck more road worthy for the trip this weekend.

Hopefully it will do some good, sometimes talking to & asking questions to the red tape is like trying to talk to a fence post.

My first call to our DMV was answered by a fence post wrapped in reflective red tape. I'm going to try and start from the top down with my efforts. The examples I've been sent can only help by showing its common in the rest of North America. Thanks again.

Start with your elected provincial politicians, not the folks at the DMV.

Sounds like a good idea to me, Bill. Not sure if my 'clutch leg' will be ready, but I'll try. Let's tag up on about Thursday. If I can't drive my truck, maybe I can meet you at your house and ride with ya'. (I can drive our Yukon)

Success! Saskatchewan will allow a year of manufacture plate to be displayed front and rear. Just submit an application for a personalized plate with the numbers and letters as they appear on the YOM plate, and as long as those digits aren't on a plate already in use, it is accepted.

Yes, I have a letter from the Minister in charge of our DMV. I plan on keeping a copy in the truck.

Good to hear you make it through the forest of fence posts. Congrats on a job well done.
