"Mac's Auto" Tailgate latches Install

Today I installed Mac's Auto Parts.... Model A Ford Tailgate Latches on my 66 C10. They are attractive, simple and cheap. They are part number 64-31925 at about $15 each. By the way I have no connection with Mac's...just a fine product if you don't want chains. For some reason I couldn't attach photos...Google Mac's for photos if interested.

Clean looking install .

I'm always looking at the clever ways folks up date this important item .

Me , I gotta have those chains rattling and beating my $$ paint job to death....

 

To be a purist is Good...I just have too much hot rodder in me to keep things original.

Other than the appearance of these latches, I like the fact that I can reach both with my arms out stretched and open and close them easily. At 5'8" that's a good thing.
