Just wanted to introduce myself and my 54 Chevy 3100..I am new to the old truck scene and I have so much to learn and ask about her.
I picked her up July 5th 2014 off of my boss at a steal of a price and I have been slowly getting her ready. Had to raise the seat since someone decided to mount the seat frame directly to the cab floor, I redid the brakes completely New Master, Hose, Cylinders, Shoes and Hardware)

Welcome aboard! I like the color combination. Looks real nice. What power plant does she have? I see dual exhaust, that hints of V8 power. Appreciate the pictures. Thanks, Bill B

Mine has the 235 as well. When I went to get new exhaust, I had a straight pipe put on, and it sounds pretty good. Not too loud, either. (At least I don't think so)

    Beautiful.

That's my favourite colour combo. Combined with a 235 and dual exhaust, it makes my heart go pitter-patter. If she's got dual carbs and a vintage-style valve cover, I might just leave my wife for her. ;)

    Good work!

Dual Carbs are in the works soon. Not sure on what the vintage style Valve cover would look like

If you google image search dual carb 235, there are lots of cool project ideas. Offenhauser makes a cool one. :)

Doesn't look too dirty to me!

I see fresh wire and loom, fairly fresh paint (without lots of oil) on the engine, and other signs that someone has cared for this truck.

    Very nice.
