4 speed granny low

    after the 24th of August will have a 4 speed granny low out of 1966 3/4 ton c-20 chevy truck for sale or trade for 2 speed power glide or 350 turbo transmission asking price is $300.00 thats clutch &pressure plate that comes along with transmission if interrested e- mail me at mokeys66@hotmail.com.

    Trade for a good 350 turbo or $200.00 thats the lowest Ill go on 4 speed granny low its all there still in truck.

    FWIW ; here in the old truck world , that tranny is nearly worthless as it's usually tossed in for free with the $150.00 used good running 235 takout engine :(

    However if you put up a post over on a Jeep BBS or Toyota Land Cruiser BBS , those guys _KILLfor these trannies and will prolly give you the original $300.00 asking price...

    Powerglides did slip & slide very hard to find anymore. Powerglides were good transmisions.

    No whats worthless is a 235,thats my opion everone is intititlted to opions:) Its like that old v-8 comercial on T. V. ,WOW I could of had a v-8.:D .

    Worthless Old Scrap Iron

    Although I love it , the 235 engine is almost worthless sad to say .

    Yes , I could had had a V-ate just like everyone else but I chose to keep my mystery ' rebuilt ' (yeah , right) 235 :D and SM420 tranny , it's chugging along just fine thankyouverymuch :p

    If I were ever to go over to the dark side , I'd prolly hunt up a nice old 265 or 283 as those were the very best IMO ~ long life and plenty of power too .

    283 engines are one of the best blocks chevy ever made,thats whats in my 1966 chevy c-10 shortbed fleetside,Ive had a 250 6 banger years back but it just wasnt enough. Oh MR. VW NATE as you can see I did sale my 4 speed granny low on this form. Thank You have a nice day.
