    congrats!

Let me be the first to say "Great Job" we always want more, more, more...

Looks like you too have come a long ways, with still some small hills to climb. But as my grandfather used to say "it's no hill for a stepper". Sure do miss my fishin buddy and his old 51 that had paint on the inside of the roof because he turned-er upside down when the steering wheel came off. Rolled-er back over, crunk-er up and drove-er home:D

    Way to go KEN!

I know the feeling! I put it off and put it off, but now, I too can post pictures in the members gallery!:) I just wish that TB'sD would share how the HECK you get those fingernail- toenail- thumbnail photos to post in like he (and others) do! I mean, we saved his daughter from a horrible rainy wreck- you'd think he might let us in on the secret???

    Thanks dude!

It is an awesome shop, if i do say so myself. Dad and I built it in 1970. Unfortunately, the shop and my truck are located in west Tennessee and I am in Houston (Tomball) Texas. A mere 732 miles separates me from my baby! That shop has restored, and I use the word "restored" in its strictest sense, a 49 chevy pu, a 48 chevy coupe, a 40 chevy sedan delivery, a 66 f**d mustang, and now hopefully a 50 chevy truck. It will accomodate 4 vehicles at one time, and has a paint spraying booth. That was dad's passion, so we made it to where it was perfect for him. I would love to have it here, but until i can do that, i'll have to settle for using all of my vacation time each year to work on it.

Boops Dad, check out the "bling" on my pics. You need one of those for Boop's truck.

Kevins48, check out those NOS rear fenders. They have never been on a truck before and are painted in the original colors from the factory.

Chiro, look at the rear fender on the right. That is Mariner Blue, one of Chevy's colors for our trucks. I'll bet you a dollar that that is the color Old Navy used on their trucks. If i lose the bet, you'll have to come here to collect it! I'll throw a couple "breather" burgers on the grill!

    Lol

I sure get a lot from this site and most of all I get a good laugh just about the time I really need one >>>>>>THANKS<<<<<<<<<.

    OK, Posting 101 - - - -
Step 1 - there is a little squigly looking thinga a ma bob that kinda looks like a paper clip just to the right of the smiley face on the post screen.

Step 2 - Using your left and only the left mouse button, push it ONCE. After pushing the left mouse button over the squigly thing a new screen will open. The new screen will from this point on be know as the "manage attachments" screen.

Step 3 - Left click once on the brouse button (upper right of the manage attachments screen) then locate from there where you put your pics on your computer.

Step 4 - Next - click, yes you got it now, left click, once and wala bing, your pic is off into never land.

Step 5 - Next - repeat last steps for each pic you want us old fogies to drewl over.

Your limit is (5) five, so give it your best shot, and I nearly forgot, to make things complicated the pic size can't be greater than 300K.

THATS PRETTY DARN SMALL FOR A PIC.

    You know it's gotta be simple if I can do it:D :D :D :D

    Fridge

Hey Ken, is that an old propane or kerosene fridge I see in the background. Oh yeh, I'll take those junky old front fenders off your hands. I'm sure they are in the way, and while i'm sure your gona let me have them at a good price i'll go-a-head and get that hood. It's the least a friend could do. :D

    It's a 1950 Kenmore

Mom and dad bought that fridge in 1950 from Sears and Roebuck. Their first major purchase when they got married! It finally crapped out on them in 1989! Dad said "They just don't build them like they used to!" I shook my head and said "Yeah, you're right".

Now that I've seen those pics of the rear fenders that you're gonna sell me for the price you bought them for, let your mom know I'll be by this weekend to come and get them!!!!:D Truck looks great Ken, I know you'll be excited to get back to it, I know I will be. I just bought my 4-link today and the next time I'm in I'm gonna strip my other S-10 down and bring the frame back with me so I can get the chassis done and ready for the cab to sit on it. Man oh Man good times.

Hey Ken it wouldn't happen to be a newer body S-10 with rear disc brakes is it????? Because you know how I feel about those rear ends, they work perfect and I'm about to start on that part of the truck.

Definately a rear end kind of guy. I hate to see them go but I LOVE to watch them leave!!!:D

Yeah usually with Ken Quest I take the opposite turn from what he says. Always trying to get us lost. I think he's a little seinile sometimes. Or maybe he just want's to protect those treasured OEM Fenders he's got hanging up. I bet that's it!!!:p
