If you go with rhino-liner, one word. "PREP IT GOOD". Oops, that's 3 words. If you trap any moisture in between the rhino liner and the cab, you won't know it until the rust comes up through the floor board. Same goes with a rubberized undercoating or anything like that. Just my 3 cents.:D

now now i've driven it with the stock engine (which i rebuilt myeslf in highschool) and tranny/rear end for 20 years. i think i deserve a little more power. besided i'm going to drive this to hollywood, CA. every day once it's done. so i got to keep up with the beemers. you can't give em the lane or they will make another call on there surgicily emplanted cell phone.

as far as the rino goes, the cab has been sand blasted and ech primed. there is no watter trapped anyware. but thanks of the advice..

i did the last rust hole last night. since we are doing taxes today i want to wait a week to see if we have any money left, before i spend some more..

looking good there mylow. I'm very impressed with your patch jobs that you have done. That body line around the corner glass. That one looked very tricky, but came out very well. Keep us updated.

I also want disc's and air bags all the way around...

thanks for the pic's, to actually see the process at work really helps. My plans are to also put disc brakes both up front and back. The air bags are also on my list. Where did you go for both?

i'm not sure the frounts are diffrent than the back. the rear are heights 4 link with bags. i had 2 difrent companys order parts and instal. so it's hard to say where their from. since i'm not a great welder i didn't want to weld in the suspension... as far as disk breaks go dont forget to factor the rotor in to your caculations on rear width. we based the rear dimensions on the drums. and thats why there to close to the bed...

I like it shiney. I like the flat colors too on other vehicles but these AD's need to shine in my opinion. I'm doing a high gloss black with a bright red interior. See my engine posted in the other post and that is the color my interior will be. But that's just my opinion.

i realized my limitations early in the build and had a professional welder install the frount end. i'm sure i could do it if i had to but i want to live... as far as everything else i've done my self except for the paint. the steering was a hassel to say the least i should have gone with some sanderson headers for clearance. instead i went with a set of dougs hugger headers. they really don't fit the truck i will probably throw them away and buy the right headders. with dougs i had to angel the steering colom out of the way to clear the headders.
