Nate, what should the dwell be on a 54 235?

    Thanks, i can't find it anywhere. Is there a website that has this kind of info?
    Ken50 recommended one, and it has good stuff, like the shop manual, but not dwell setting.

    Per shop manual:New points adjust to .019" and adjust distributor [loosened] until the steel ball in the flywheel lines up with the pointer on the flywheel housing. Manual also states to set octane selector at "0" prior to adjusting distributor timing. Dwell isn't mentioned but this should do you..

    Absolutely welcome to provide input, and it's appreciated. I already have the other info though. The dwell info will allow a more precise setting of the points.
