Wish me luck fellas ! :)

My U-joint has been groaning for 5 ~ 10 years now , I know it's just waiting to do me dirt in a horrible place  .

I cannot afford the new $100.00 ones I see on E-Pay so I've been biding my time waiting to find a Hot Rod takeout or that low milage truck that was scrapped with low milage in 1972 or maybe a fire job.....(I know they're out there)

My buddy called me to-day he'd just bought a new(er) Chebby truck from a 72 year old man way out in the desert , when they went into the kitchen to do the paperwork and swap money for title , my buddy noticed an old photo of an AD pickup on the 'fridge and asked about it , the old man said
' oh yeah , I made a Hot Rod out of it 25 years ago then sold it , I tossed that worthless 216 engine in the dump but I never got aroundtuit and the danged tranny and Torque Tube rear end are still under a tarp behind the garage...'

Can it be ? will I get my free , good used U-Joint after all ?

Stay tuned , I've told my buddy to set this up ASAP .

Let me know exactly what you are looking for. I may have a source for a cheep, if not free one if this deal does not work out. I can tote it to L.A. with me late December.

    !!

FREE ?! that's my favorite word! I must have missed the ad as I always try to hook up folks with unwanted running gear as most Hot Rodders just toss 'em out :( THANK YOU for trying anyway ! :) I know there's a lot of folks out there with old trucks they cannot afford to fix and the junkyard way has been working for me lo these many years...

    E-Pay U-Joint

    I'll go give it a look , THANX ! .

Someone tried hacking my E-Pay account so I may not be able to use it right now .

These U-Joints typically go zooming up to $100.00 or so in the final moments of the auction .

    ?? E-Pay Search ?? WTH ?

O.K riddle me this : I just searched E-Pay using this search string : u-joint,u - joint and the part you listed , DID NOT show up ~ what's the deal ? what search string did you use ?!

No wonder I never find anything on E-Pay except by accident .

    TIA ,

Nate, I went to Ebay motors

And typed in the number in the search box. Pulled it right up. Current bid was 20 bucks. It's brand new and includes the yokes.

Yes , I did that , then I decided to try and see if there were others...

That's my question = how to find it without knowing the item number ?

    TIA ,
