Does anyone make the original style seat covers in the original material that you know of?

So, what are you going to do for seats in your truck?

I think the single color and two-tone kits from Classic are about as close to original as you'll find these days. The seat cover kits are the same as what the other restoration suppliers offer.

That's what I was thinking too. Sad but true, I had a chance to have my seat recovered with spot on original poly fabric about 8 years ago. A local upholsterer had a bolt of it left over from the 'day'. Before I could justify spending the bucks, his shop caught fire and lost everything. I just like the texture and pattern of the stock stuff chevy used.

Gotcha! Those seat frames in working condition are getting hard to find. Hopefully, it'll sell quick.

I hear ya...I had the same poly fabric discussion with my upholsterer several years back. He ended up covering mine in some leftover leather from another project. He said it was easier than trying to fit the vinyl repo covers.

Thanks! My friend, Gary, was an industrial designer for GM...he does the renderings for all of my projects. I don't mean to hijack the thread. Here's what my truck project will hopefully look with the push bar.
