1957 V 8 emblem location?

ANybody know the correct locatioon for the V 8 emblem on 57 ?

I've seen pics of them on the door - in line with 3100 emblem and I also saw an d ad where they were placed on lower front edge of doors ?

Anyone know for sure?

Hey Cosmo, from all the old pictures I've seen, they are located on the door in line with the fender emblem.

 

Just like he said and the front hood emblem is in the same location as the L6 badge.

if the 57 and the 58 are the same, i can get you picture from the above manual, I think. i have not looked through it.
