We all know Nate believes in driving and using our projects for what they were intended. He compliments pretty trucks but his heart is with the drivers. This came to mind when I saw this truck at the parts store I use so I snapped a couple pics. I've known this truck and it's owner since it was new. He is a rancher near my old shop and a famous poker player. I don't think he spends a lot of winnings on his truck but even though it's not an AD it shows they are tough old machines. I hope Nate is where he can, or soon will be, able to get a chuckle out of it.

    Thanks, Evan

You even show the correct brand of truck. It looks like a well rounded truck!

I'm anxious for an update on Nate's condition. I still can't believe someone rear-ended him while he was on his beloved motorcycle...

I've been trying to reach Nate but no one picks up-- left a message so hope to hear back. I'm sorry but I don't know which hospital he is in-- will let everyone know as soon as I can.

    My Kinda Truck !

I love it ! THANK YOU Evan .

FWIW fellas : if you ever get offered a ride in a ranch truck like this , beware of the spools of Bob Wire that usualy ride in the passenger's side of the cab , don't just hop in late at night else you might get an unhappy surprise ! :p

THANX Glen , I know we've been playing 'phone tag a few days now , we'll talk soon .

Zig , it's wasn't my beloved Kooky Kommie Ural Moto , it was my cherry Kawasaki W-650, I bought one of the very first 1,000 ones they imported in 2000 , I'd be cleaning my gun had that taxista smashed my Ural .

It patiently awaits me to feel up to riding , kick start only and solid steel (the only plastic on it is the air cleaner , soon to be replaced by a steel one from a junkyard in Afghanistan) , good thing it has near perfect balance but getting it up on the centerstand might be a challange .

I'm not that stupid (close though)

You know I live to ride and so am thinking about it....

After this I'll prolly finaly rebuild the seat in my '49 pickup as it has negative lumbar support now and needs help .
