    That one will work but the ratio is not the best. Look for one with the correct 2 grooves on spline...it is the best with a 3:11 first gear.

    Where do I go looking for the two groove Saginaw tranny ?

    What's it's original ittment ? .

    What vehicles used the no groove tranny ? .

    I talked with Patrick and he said my trans is too small (a special case in 1946) to change without cutting the driveline. It was an idea but i found now that's the original is the best. ...and i can learn to drive with the old crash box.
