I'm still looking for a junkyard radiator swap (my budget has been reduced!!) for my '50 and I came across this on Ebay. Its a Modine Radiator for 1978-1980 Ford Granada. The dimensions look pretty close. Looks like other F$#d units might work because the inlet & outlet would be about right if turned sideways. Anyone else considered this?

well if it helps what i did was take the entire radiator and the front mount to a radiator shop then i had them reuse the old top tank and retrofit the bottom to accomadate a th350 then replace the core with one that could accomadate a sb350. it only cost me $140. dont know if it will help but its worth a shot- Robert

Agrenada radiator was in my '49 when I bought it , kinda small (too thin) but it worked O.K. I guess ~ I threw it away , NO ONE wanted it after I found an original and had it re-cored for $250.00

If you turned that on its side then the filler neck and cap would no longer be on top but on the side as well.

    The Desert Cooler Radiator

Is made by US Radiator Co. in Los Angeles , Ca. (actually Vernon IIRC) so if you order direct from them , you'll get a nice American made radiator that fits and was made by people who care .

No , I no longer have thier contact info but last time I checked (10 years ago) they were still on Washington Blvd.

FWIW , if it comes and is a three row core , that's the stock radiator with a fnacy name and higher pricetag .

The stock three row core easily cools a 500 C.I. Caddillac engine in Death Valley.....

    Sacrilage !

I am running a mystery 1957 passenger car 235 InLine 6 banger engine thankyouverymuch :D

I don't touch V-ate monstrosities unless you screw a gun in my ear .

Of course , the FREE Cadillac hearse , I'll touch that one but I'll whine like yer little kid sister the entire time , my brother says if I can find a Cummins Diesel out of a wrecked Dodge I can swap it and then have a proper InLine engine again......
