Looking good, Greg! I love the bed!! And the hood!! That's gonna be one hellavu an awesome ride! Thanks for the update!
Greg! That's kickin' some major butt!!! I hope mine is 1/4 that nice! With your primer avatar, I can just imagine how slick that sucker will look dressed in ..orange-ish red? Thump-Thump!
Wow! Looking awesome. I think the inside of your fenders look smoother than the outsides of mine. That's going to be one sweet ride.
hey guys i haven't posted any updates here in a while but i thought you might want to see how the project has progressed... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=215079&page=14 there are 14 pages of work on there Enjoy GT
Incredible! Thanks for the link. I saw that you shortened the seat by 4". That looks great. What year/vehicle did the seat come from?
thats a re-pop from glide engineering. http://www.glideeng.com/ i asked the upholstery guy to make it's shape as original as he could. the new seat came with the foam that looked too modern. GT
ok guys it's driving. i had the dmv look at it and give me a licence. look at he the last page of the build for more picts http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=215079&page=16 GT
that looks great! thanks for all the pictures! man what a lot of work you did! glad to see that you are driving it now
Looks kool, even if it is shiny! I could never go that low, Iowa roads would eat me alive, lucky dog! I will use mine as a working/towing truck too, so going that low is out of the question, but I sure do love the way yours looks!
agreed thats why i have the air bags... it will go up pretty high if you need to. I've seen lower, but the modifications to the stock frame are major so i believe this is as low as you can go without too much in the way of mods. in the previous pict the transmission support is actually on the ground. heres a pict of the top floor. exhaust and tires Greg, the truck looks great. just thought i'd share this with you.back in the early 60's i dumped my exhaust out directly in front of the rear tires (possibly a little closer). after a 400 mile road trip in the hot summer,i noticed that the tread was about 2/3 gone on a set of new rear tires. i'm sure that rubber compounds are better now. just some food for thought. again, your truck looks great.
ouch! I hope that dosent happen to me. i think the angle will help. so far the only issue is the amount of dusk it kicks up into the deep rim. i want to move the exaust but i have some larger technical chalenges to get it over the hump Thanks GT
