Looking for parking brake parts....

I had my brakes in my '54 go out on me in my driveway (luckily) on Thursday. I had one of those slow motion moments when the pedal went to floor and time stopped just before the truck went rolling back into my '87 F150 lawn sculpture. In that time I had a chance to look around for Wiley Coyote and wish I had a parking brake. I have all the parts underneath but nothing in the cab. My other '54 project truck had the upright for the brake but not the rest of the parts. LMC, JC and our host don't seem to carry many in cab parking brake parts. Anyone know where to come up with them?

Go to eBay and do an advanced search to fing the member known as "Jimbo59chevy". He is a stand up guy in Texas that parts out a lot of AD pickups to fuel his love of Task Force trucks. Many p[eople here have got things from him and he is great to deal with. Look on any of his ads and his phone number is usually listed.

I was lucky and found a guy parting a '54 in Wisconsin I got all my e-brake parts from him.

Andy, had an excellent idea about contacting Jimbo59chevy. I've got his number somewhere but it escapes me right now. I'll be visiting my mom next week and will look to see if the beast still has the parts you're looking for.



Unfortunately, most of the critical parts are not unavailable in the repop world.

LMC does carry both the foot operated park brake and the tranny brake parts.
