If the front window is the only problem...sesh!
I hope to have my wiring harness in by this weekend...that will take one of my issues of the list.

still a few bugs , I cant get the dome light to work, the speedo dosn't work, (maybe the gear ?) and I broke the turn signal mechanisim , I can get the turn signals to work by moving the cable (60-62 used a cable) with my hand.
The po parked it when the head lights went out, turns out the plug at the fire wall was dirty, I found this out after changing the dimmer!!
The horn stoped working due to a broken terminal that broke off when I pulled the plug at the fire wall a simple by pass solved that.
The major problem is the cracked windshield, I have an extra one but not the 250.00 to install it.
The 4 speed borg is a bit noisy, I will check the fluid level, but fun to drive will post more as I progress

Looks good and sounds like progress.

I am going with a similar rim design.
I replaced my low beams with fresh bulbs and a new headlight switch. New adjusters....I could hunt buffalo in Montana from here! WOW!

I had a pickup that looked just like yours several years back, i bought it thinking it was a truck, after the purchase and putting it on the lift to check it out closer, i realized it was a 62 body and bed that had been drafted on to a 70's transam frame, suspension, motor and trans. It was alot of fun to drive!! and imagine that it, it handled like a muscle car. Ended up finishing the paint and selling it. I should have kept it for my collection.

what reminded me of this truck is when you mentioned your tranny, my truck had the same tranny with a car stick, i remember always having to reach way down to shift the transmission, made for some sketchy cornering at high speeds.

the shifter on this one is darn near at a perfect spot, the 3 speed hurst on my fleetside is low, I solved this by using a beer tap handle works like a charm !!

I can't believe you only paid $900... U can't buy anything up here for $900

Looks better with the rear bumper on! A local fella put a front bumper on the back of his stepside, it also looked pretty cool

    Keep the updates coming!
