Thanks for the compliments guys. Nate this truck was originally a 235-6 Cyl. truck with a granny 4 Spd. and 411 gears but a funny thing happen to me when I was on my way to buy the truck. My diesel started running out of fuel and when I swapped tanks it never picked up. Nevertheless I burnt up the starter. Sooo I called the tow truck and had the driver take me over to buy the 61. Without having enough time to check out the 61 or fix the diesel I had to drive the 61 94 miles one way to work. 48 miles a hour was all I could go with out burning up the old six and I had to pull over a couple of times and let her rest. By the end of the day I was exhausted and I still had to put a starter in the diesel. Anyways the old 6 didn't make it for too long so I pulled her out and replaced her with a 400 horse small block that's just a little pissed off, automatic, power steering, power disk brakes and a late model rearend. Damm those diesels but even though my 61 acts like it has an attitude it is actually very happy....Big Tim :D

    Sounds Good !

    I just can't resist taking a little jab now & then.... :)

One of my big joys is rolling up somewheres in my '49 , open exhaust making sure everyone knows I'm running a dead stock InLine 6 Banger and having someone ask ' you came from where ? in THIS ?! :D

    I know I'm a Luddite but I'm a happy one .
