Winshield

    Whats the easiest way to remove a windshield ( In one peace )Seal is hard & cracking glass in good condition Thanks .

    Remove any trim molding if you have it and then take a razor knife with a new blade and cut off the exterior rubber seal. Then bump out the glass from the inside. It's good to have a helper..

    Loosen up the seal around the outside with a putty knife, THEN.
    Cut the seal from the INSIDE, then bump the glass OUT. Place a comforter or a few layers of drop cloth over the hood, and get a friend or two to help.

    Watch the edges !!! After it's out, clean and place blue painters tape over the edges ot fth glass to help minimize chipping.

    Well cracked the first glass however the parts truck came right out cab almost gutted hopefully will get finished this week in the evenings blast & epoxy prime this weekend we will see . Thanks for the help with the glass .
