Working on rebuilding my vent windows in the 52, the frames are in good shape, the only problem I have is with the pivot bolts on the vent window frames are really rusted bad. Has anyone ever replaced just the pivot bolt or know where you can purchase. Would buy new vent window frames if they were available without the glass, going with smoked glass and all the complete frames I've looked at come with clear glass. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Try Auto City Classic on the web. they sell glass sets pre tinted, not sure about the frames.

We can fix you up with a good used pair of glass frames that have good pivot studs.

    PM us for more info.

I have tacked in a bolt with the head cut off in a vent window frame. Go slow, you will burn through the frame easily. Gring the bolt to the same profile of the orig.

I was looking at that option with the bolts, I saw that the original bolts have a plate riveted inside the channel over them, wasn't sure if there was a company out there that sold just the bolts for repair purposes. Might drill out the rivets to see what the head of the original bolt looks like. Thanks all for the info sumitted.
