Parts Hunting Posting where you're located goes a long ways as does showing some common courtesy , like : ' Hi guys , I'm Randy in (state/town) and I'm rebuilding an old '52 Suburban with (insert engine and so on here) , any one know where I should look for the back seat ? ' . In any case , Joe (" Dead Zone Trucking) in Azx. will have what you need and he's a good guy . Lastly , we like pix ! no matter how nice or far apart your 'Burb is , we want to see it and read stories about it ....
When I need parts for these I check out "Panels N' Burbs" on the Stovebolt site. These seats are scarce since most were discarded years ago so libel to be pricey. I got a set of front fender trim, used on Burbs only, from this site and yes, it bit the pocketbook. After 1200 bucks for a 38 LaSalle license plate holder (and top of left tail light) they can't scare me anymore.
