I just checked Classicparts and I cant find any brakeshoes for my Chevrolet 1949 3600. Any ideas where I can find, cheap?

I really dont want to spend very much money on brakeshoes, because Im going to install a Mustang ll front end in the near future. Need to have the truck all stock first, for the car registration here in Sweden. After this I can start modify :)

Check with someone such as J.C. Whitney. They have a lot of odd stuff no one else has. Good luck.

Check with Jim Carter truck parts. If I recall correctly, 1 ton fronts are the same as 3/4 ton rears. I have some servicable 1 ton fronts available .

Okey. That would be great, someone who know if the 1 ton fronts fits the rear on 3/4 trucks? Then the fronts are the only problem. I have to check if it's possible to get the relined at some local shop. I thought they were reproduced, but no! If someone find any front 3/4 ton shoes, let me know! :D

Yes for us 3/4 ton huck rear shoes are no longer made. So don't throw yours away. As mentioned above you can get them relined. That is what i plan on doing when mine are worn. Zig was kind enough to give me his that were refurbished! So Im good for a while. Also DO NOT AGAIN DO NOT turn your drums. Huck drums are no longer available as well at least for the 3/4 ton they are not!!!
