    My ol 68 big cat

Many's the time I'd mash the starter into the spinning ring gear where I hopped in and couldn't tell it was still running, only way to tell was to check the gauges before you hit the starter button! That was one sweet engine, not a cammy snappy type motor, more like a turbine engine, just kept winding up!:D

    Here kitty, kitty!

The fastest I've ever been in a production vehicle was a Jag! Here's a pic of it with my Aunt Marilyn behind the wheel!

Check out the old D Type

The fastest iv'e been on public roads was many moons ago (i was 20 i think) and was in a D Type jag that the owner had been testing at Silverstone (race track in middle England) and he decided it would be a giggle to drive it home, approx 100 miles!!!! No licence plates, no nothing! it was a 1950's Le Mans winning car on race tyres, Insane! but hell it was awesome! Anyhow, he decided after a few miles to let me have a drive! 20 years old, in a race car, on the streets, no insurance and at the time it was around half a million quids worth of car!!! and we were on the A5 which to you guys would be a 2 lane road like one that goes through the desert, but over here there are houses, shops, lamp posts, telegraph poles, roundabouts, traffic lights nearly all the way down it! he kept screaming at me to go faster and faster (no windscreen worth talking about so you had to shout) and he wasnt happy untill i nearly had it flat out on one long straight where the traffic eased up. No speedo only a mechanical rev counter so when we finally got home he excitedly grabbed a pen and paper and worked out the gearing, tyre size etc and 162mph was the number:eek: and he got his top mechanic, who had been trying to keep up in a mercedes with a trailer hanging off it, to do his own calculations and he came up with the same number:D

One experience i will never forget:D looking back it was probably the dumbest thing i've ever done in a car:eek: suicidal:(

The pic is of one that has a cover over the passenger seat, the one we were in has an extended 2" high screen across the passenger side and no cover. Not really a seat either, just a leather pad!

No, not two! All 5 of them and they're all girls. Might as well throw in Uncle Max too! FYI, that pic was taken in the late '60's, as if you can't tell by the scarf and shades!:D She's still a classy dame, albiet a little greyer! But then, I'm a little biased on that!;)
