rims tirers

    i can buy some realy cheap priced tirers.225/75/16.will these fit in my wheel well properly are they to wide? on my 1948 1/2 ton.i was told 15 and 16 inch where standard.if they fit which 6 lug rim would work whith the tire i want to still use the original hubcaps.i would still have to buy the rims.thanks

    225 is WAAYYY too wide !

    Hey Nate - I think you've always recommended the LT 215/85/r16 - right? I sure hope so because that is what i got. For what little i have gotten to drive it so far, they seem fine.

    215 85 16s, making a note of that...

    Need help with wheel specs.
    I'm guessing 16 x 7?
    4" Backspacing?

    I'm going to be adding one of the disc brake swap kits with a 5 lug to match my rear. Will this have any effect on backspacing needed?
