Hey Guys, I am proud to say I have taken to the craze and done A RATTLE CAN job. I will post up some better pictures in the sunlight but was running late. Inner to outer piece will arrive Monday and I can button up the corner and then.......clean up my new 228 and put it all together. That will leave brakes and wires to be done in the garage while that white stuff falls out of the sky and be all ready for mud season. Stay tuned for more pictures.

Let the spray cans sit in really warm water....the paint will atomize a little better. You can cover the thing in spray, then use real clear on it.

    Foo-Foo Cans

Just remember : he said sit the Foo-Foo cans in a pan of really warm water , NOT put the pan of cans & water on the stove then turn on the flame forgetting the metal cans are touching the bottom of the pan causing them to rapidly overheat & explode covering 1 %'er Howie's kitchen in black paint  like Big Jim did once , he's *very* lucky Howie allowed him to have the entire kitchen re painted instead of dissappearing into a shallow grave out in the Mojave Desert..... .

Foo-Foo can paint can be lain on to look nice *but* if you neglect to cover it with real paint , clear or satin , whatever , it will cause rust to appear in a year or so .

Good to know Nate, I mostly put the paint on to decrease the rusting as I don't have enough room in the garage with all of the parts in there at the moment. I will definitely lay on some clear. Hopefully once I get the motor in and finish the metal, this week maybe, I will be able to fit it in the garage for the smaller work. Thanks as always!!

I've had friends paint their trucks and grafix in spray paint, then wet sand and clear with cheap automotive clear and you wouldn't know the difference. The first coat of clear needs to be light (dry) then the following coats can be wet and heavy.
