    Hi fellas,

New to this board, I ended up here whilst looking for info on my 52 1/2 ton.
I'll drop in a couple of pictures.

I purchased stock 2 years ago from San Fran. Since then its had new suspension all round, new motor (the old L6 is going to live on in a buddys 41 Sedan Deluxe as it was non original anyway) trans etc.

next job is the windscreen and then onto the bed wood.

    added some hubcaps:

Nice truck and I like the 2 tone paint job. You're the 2nd Neil on the forum that doesn't drive on the right side of the road! Welcome.

Thanks for the welcome guys. :)

I put it on air, MII front end and a custom 3 bar rear with panhard. 2 x Viair 380s 3gal + 2gal tank and a valve block all housed in an old Trunk (1946 seattle luggage co.) in the bed at the back.

    '49 3100 f.s.

Your choice ~ $6K -or- teardown , de rust and re paint of my '69 C/10 , no mechanical works needed but careful re - assembly to as - is now condition as I plan to work it like a rented mule....

I'm sick of getting things back with any old screw in any old hole and original hardware discarded or mixed willy-nilly .

Serious here , I no longer need my '49 and I want to fix the '69 now before it rusts away .

I'm unsure, as it came with (actually on) the motor which I bought from over there. If you really really wanna know I have emailed the guy and asked, I'll let you know when I get a response.

I asked Daryl and he said
