Used a 350 sbc in a 66 Ford PU that has the throttle body injector set up. It runs very smooth, has good power, starts instantly hot or cold, and gets right at 20mpg with a 3.25 rear and fairly tall tires. Was easy to wire up so unless people insist on a carb I think the injector set up is the way to go.

    Fuel Injection

    Just so Even ! .

F.I. is always the way to go because once fitted , it's trouble free and vastly more economical whilst providing more power at the same time via more precise metering of the fuel .

I'm not talking about GM's stupid & cheap crappy throttle body junk , good fuel injection has one injector per cylinder , like mega Squirt etc. .

I'd love to adapt Jeep's L6 F.I. to my Chevies but I'm too old & worn out to attack this typ of project anymore dangit :( .

In an InLine engine , it's simpler as you only need one injector per intake port .

A nice basic CIS F.I. should make any L6 run smooth as silk as well as strong and economical .
