But now my truck's garage has a new coat that hopefully will last longer than it's last. The termites seem to be gone. It only took me 4 days + one more for rebuilding the door, but it's DONE! The one from inside shows the school where I work. It's a long drive...
New Garage WOW ! . Tha's really nice Zig . I hope you have a garden hose on it ? a few years back another Old Trucker lost his garage and the truck too.... BTW : I have PLENTY of spare termites (millions) , want me to mail you some ? .
Nice funky style workshop! I love the paintwork and design, termites are worser to deal with as they have a tendency to come back. What kind of method did you use to get rid of them? I have a minor ants invation behind my house and it looks like they are building up there nest inside somewhere in the wood ? Martinius.
No thanks, Nate~ I think they probably found my neighbor's house more to their likings... I used the stakes that you can buy at Home Depot. I'm on my third round with them, but lost the activity. I will keep putting in new ones for years to come. Nate, with all the flowers/plants around, you know we have a hose near bye. Thanks!
Your yard is looking great! That garage really looks nice! Plus that sweet GMC sitting in it is a plus
Zig, I've always liked the idea of "up high" windows. Lots of natural light and out of reach for unwelcome eyes. In hot weather I guess you could work in the nude with none the wiser but wouldn't recommend it when welding, cutting or grinding. I see your floor not's poured so be prepared for a major bite on the pocketbook; it's over $100 a yard around here. It's so nice the "G" might not want to leave to go out amongst the unwashed public.
Ha Zig Looks great you want to come up to OZ and help me finish mine? With the weather so nice it's tough not to do something outside. Nice boat...that one will catch fish! Papy
Cha-CHING! It won't be nice, but it will be a one-time cost, at least. My mom and dad have said over and over, once I get it running, they will happily pay to have the concrete poured. They must really like me...
Gotta work~ Thanks for the invite, but it's time for me to get back to (real) work. The boat catches fish, I just need to figure out how to get it on the water more often!
