49 Chevy Spare Tire Mtg

    Does anyone out there have a picture of the mounting of the Spare tire on a 3100 under the rear chassis. I have what I believe is one main bracket on the truck now. Thank you:confused:

    Sliding Spare Tire Mount

    Yes this has been covered in great detail before , look in the archives as there are good photos so you'll recognize it when you find that elusive rusty one on E-Bay .

    Hard to find , I bet Joe , AKA Mothertrucker can fix you up .

    Joe fixed me up with the reartire sling that goes under the rear. I have a '50 3600. If Joe does not have one I don't know who would. Great guy to deal with and very knowledgable.

    Looking now I need the lower bracket shown.
