I get pleasure when people walk up to me and begin by saying " you're Nate , right ? " then launching into some chat about a repair I did or car sold or just a helpful hand given 40 years ago ~ it astounds me that anyone remembers but they do . When SWMBO and I are out and about , young Men often walk up and tell her THANK YOU for giving me shelter and guidance . these are youths who left her long before but saw that a good happy and productive life is achievable . For the most part , people are good , this is why I like to travel and see new places and things . Don't ever allow the periodic down turns and rough spots to stop nor dishearten you .
