454_BIG_BLOCK_2

This is the 1978 big block 454 that I built much like my 49's 327. Very much a performance motor but not close to anything that is too much to drive daily. It was dyno tested before we put it in the truck and this motor made a little over 500hp. Not a drag truck but way more than I need just a whole lot of TORQUE! It has also a beefed up 350 trans in it like the 49' Chevy pickup. NOTE: They both have NOS set up on them but I have never used it on either. Probably not a great or smart thing on the investment side but it looks cool. I will use it a little on my 327 as soon as I get a few more miles on the motor.
