Its been 20+ years since I did this conversion, but you'll have to have an extra piece of channel since the regulators are 3 arm for the one piece glass vs. 2 arm for the wing type. I'm sure one of the other guys here such as bigtim can help you more than I can.
hey Federale, I'm Andrew and i have a 1952 chevy one ton that i'm deep into getting finished soon... I was read your post in regards to changing your side windows to single glass (then back again). I'm completing the chop of my '52 and i want to go with the single side windows as cutting down the vents is going to be too big a pain(i gotta have a/c i'm in houston)... I was wondering when you said that parts form a '49/'50 (glass and regulators) are needed, are the regulators a direct bolt on or are modifications required to mount them? And could you tell me about the what you did for the window channels, I've seen some kits but they are look pretty generic... Any help or insight you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
