Jim, I used this artilce as a reference to do my install. I have the orinigal springs installed but cut off 1 1/2 coils. Over all I'm satisfied with it. The truck is still a work in progress but if i were to do anything differently I would have just swaped out the brakes on the straight axel with discs, swapped the rearend and left the six in and drove the heck out of it!
