We took the Camaro out for a spin on Friday.
We did our normal backroads wandering and then headed into town for some fuel.
As I'm fueling up a guy about our age comes up and he is asking Teresa and I questions about the car. Another gal comes up and says: There's something green running out...
I wondered if the owner of this truck is a member here... and if he would like a copy of the photos I took?
We were on the 3rd floor at The Double Eagle hotel, and as soon as we checked into the room, I snapped a couple photo's... just as the driver and a woman were getting into the truck...

Nate's giving you good advice. Keep it simple. But I know from experience that finding oem wheels for these trucks can be a challenge. Many companies still make replacement steel wheels for these trucks. But those new wheels will need painted and some sort of hubcaps. All that...

With a vehicle on the lift in the raised position I've rammed my head into them to many times to count. Actually messed my neck up for a couple weeks one time walking into a tire. :confused:

I used to wonder... Why do the arms on our Rotary Lift rotate so far out behind the lift post?
The answer is because the folks designing these are so darned smart. It allows you to park your vehicle, and the arms are out of your way when getting into and out of your vehicle.
Sounds like a fun project, but it'll be a money pit. I lost my arse on my '65 Orange Crate. All those little bits and pieces add up.
But if it's a family heirloom or something like that... I get it.
As for the V8/automatic swap it's complexity increases based on the year of the V8 /...
