The good news is truck is running great after flushing and thermostate change. Took it for a work run today and all good, propulsion wise.

    Two issues.

One about half the time the starter is not fully engaged and grinds? I had it rebuilt a couple of years ago to maintain the original case and plate. I am assuming it is the solenoid portion that is not fully working. Looking for ideas.

And I clearly have a leak in the heater. A few drips on passenger floor board. I do remember when I took it off and cleaned it up I found it difficult to reattach the hoses form the cab side. I also get a mist on the passenger side of windshield. SO I assume the core is leaking. Again looking for ideas. Can I buy a replacement core? Attached is a picture of my heater and will the one sold by our sponsor fit?
