I'm looking to replace the carb on my 1954 5 window chevy truck. I have some questions for the experts out there. I have attached a pic for ref. What is the device on the left side of the carb (white in color)? What kind of carb should I replace this one with? I cant seem to find a Carb with the device on the side of it. Again, I appreciate all the guidance as I'm a newbie at this. Thanks
