CD player

    Has anyone put a CD player into their ride? I just replaced a tape player with my CD player. I think i need more juice cuz it wont turn on. im hoping I can syphen off one of the larger guage Pos wires under the dash. What do you suggest?

    Is it grounded? That might be why its not coming on. My 2 cents worth anyway!

    Its grounded I made sure it was connected. Im not sure its getting enough power. Its also 8 years old. LOL I may attach it too the dash lamp power supply.

    Thanks. I connected it directly to the battery but it still doesnt work. I hope Its not broke.

    Check the in-line fuse it might be blown. If not the case your radio has seen better days. As far as installing it you have two choices. In the glove conpartment or where the old one was. To put it where the old one was weld in a patch to cover the old radio holes and then cut out your new hole.

    Its an 8 Year old Pioneer cd player so im sure theres something wrong with it. LOL I have to open it up and check the internal fuse. Ive already cut out and placed the player. It will really suck if it doesnt work. LOL no money to do any real work on it yet so i figured Id install something I already had. Oh well. LOL Thanks guys.
