does any body know if this part #3847700 whitch is on the back of a hood ornament that i might buy is original equipment for my 1950 chev pickup any input please.

 

Is it genuine GM

Speaking of hood ornaments, I was looking for the hood ornament for that rusty pedal jeep and found the ones for the cars and trucks my, my, what a great treat looking at all of-em on fleabay. Some of them puppies are down right spendy.
