    Welcome aboard.

If you go through Frank64 threads you will find the information you need. Frank is building a customized 1/2 t. truck using a modern el. fan.

    Good luck Martinius.

    E-Fans

    WELCOME , Pops ! .

You'll find most E-Fans come with or can be added , simple plastic feet that you use to hold the fan to the radiator core with special ties made for this purpose ~ you're local NAPA or F.L.A.P.S. will have them in stock .

Use the widest fan you can squeeze in and place it in front of the radiator , as far up as possible ~ it makes no difference puller or pusher fitment unless you didn't pass 7trh grade science .

It's wise to use a relay and place the thermostatic switch in the thermostat housing (they make them for this,'85 Camaro etc.) and , to wire it live so the fan comes on anytime the engine is too hot , this means when you pull in to get a beer & shut it off , as you're 20' away, the fan will kick on and cool down not only the engine but all the other plastic & painted things under the hood that normally get ruined from the heat soak ~ your engine will love you for this .
