engine swap

    if installing borg warner 4spd in 65 short do i need the belhousing that was on my 3spd that i took out or will any 4spd bellhousing work thanks john

    Your getting into my territory. OK here is how to do it... Make sure that the bellhousing (what ever it maybe) will bolt up to both the motor and tranny. if you need to move the crossmember, then do so. Make sure that the input shaft will seat properly in the pilot bearing. My sugestion is get the 4 speed bellhousing and use it. It will make things alot easier, even if you have to move the xmember.
