    hello all ..
I have a 71 c-10 with gastank in cab... want to move it out of cab..
blazer tank is different..but may work..
where is the blazer tank located on the 67-72 on the frame(live in rust belt there is not many(blazers) to look at to find out myself)
    chevyduty sell a blazer kit(tank straps/sender/ect) but
I don't know where the blazer tank would go on frame and if truck/blazer frames are the same(where the tank would go)
early enterprises makes a stainless tank for behind the rear end but it's 800.00..
eklers sells a alum.tank mounts behind rearend for 400.00+
blazer kit it 250.00 like to use it if I can...
a small hole in bed floor is not that big of a deal(will safe cut out to weld back in if need be at later date(i.e. back to stock)
thanks for anyhelp and your time...

the blazer tank will go right at the rear of the truck between the frame rails and it is a whole lot cheaper than $800

    HELLO,

DEPENDING UPON YEAR AND FRAME STYLE (SHORT OR LONG BED), I DON'T REMEMBER WHICH ONE. YOU WILL HAVE TO REMOVE A SMALL CROSSMEMBER BETWEEN THE REAR OF THE FRAME AND THE MAIN CROSSMEMBER DIRECTLY BEHIND THE REAREND. USE THE BLAZER TANK AN STRAP KIT IT'S ALMOST A DIRECT BOLT IN. CD. MAKES ONE OF THE BEST KITS FOR THE $. BEST, IT WILL BE COMPATIBLE WITH THE STOCK GUAGE TOO.
    HAVE FUN!

    GOOD THINGS,

    BRANT

    thank u..
    kit on it's way...
much better than the 800 they want for a s/steel tank...
out of funds after big block and the little things that nickel and dime ya to death..
    one more ? for ya...
I know on my cheveele I can take the small block out and bolt a big block it ..
but on the truck can ya???????
the catalogs show a frame motor mount brakets(listed for big blocks)
i'd think if they'll swap in an a-body, that the big block should drop right in..
if not will 82 dually big block frame motor mount brackets work(are they the same?) look the same...

we do not have the big block motor mount brackets anymore they have been discontinued so you should grab the ones you spoke of that were on that 82 dually they will be the same and you will need them to put a big block in your truck.

    O k
I have the frame brackets from the dually...
    I'm confused tho..
if the frame brackets on the 82 dually are the same why are the motor(rubber mounts )different..
are the rubber mounts different for"packaging" of the engine in to the engine bay???
