We installed an aftermarket gauge on our 66 chev truck. The ad said GM's are supposed to be 0-90 ohms. Doesn't work right (full shows 1/4 tank) and the sending unit appears to be about 0-30 ohms, is that correct? Our 67 seems to have a different sending unit range, hard to tell as my ohm meter is just about dead. Thanks, Bruce
The 60-66 sending unit is going 0-30 ohms.The 67-72 pickups is 0-90 ohms.You probably will have to get a VDO sending unit to make your gauge work. Craig Hager tech1@chevyduty.com
