Interested in any info on unique 1972 C-30 Chevy truck stepside body style. I have one, it has a 9 foot (108") bed. I was told that only 240 units of this model/style were made in 1972. Any infomation on this subject would be appreciated.
RE: Interested in any info on uniqu Check the VIN number on your truck. If it's serial number is above 240 you can start to verify if your information is accurate. Here is a link to a decoder http://www.americanclassic.com/paint.htm DVal
RE: Interested in any info on uniqu DVal, Thanks for the VIN code link. I ran my VIN and it didn't show a serial number but it did give me a "Sequential Number" (#133288). Is this what I'm looking for? Bud

Unless my math skills have fallen WAY off, I'd say 133,288 is slightly larger than the total number produced that was quoted to you. DV
RE: Interested in any info on uniqu As requested a photo of my 1972 C-30 with a factory 9 foot bed. I'm still interested in any info on this model truck, I'd like to find after market bed sides. So I can start my restoration. Attachments: https://talk.classicparts.com/images/attachments/430f082304e4aa7b.jpg
RE: Interested in any info on uniqu Nice Bud! I have never seen one of those. That is one long bed you got there. FInding sides for it may be a little tough. good luck.
