I want to change the alternator on my 71 to the newer style internal voltage regulator type.so I am wondering what wires I need to run to it? and what do I do with all that extra wiring that went to the voltage regulator? just tear it out or what?.thanks.Karl ________ HERBAL HEALTH
When you change over to a internal regulated alternator you are do away with the voltage regulator, I would also suggest changing over to a HEI set up.
