    Hello Group,

Wondering if anyone out there has a solution to this problem. I have a 1953 Chevy Truck and I am trying to restore a Harrison Airflow heater so I can install it in my truck. I should have a cable that runs from the driver side dash and then connects to the Heater/Defrost lever, however my unit is missing this (see photo).
Does anyone know where I can get this cable and mounting bracket?
I have called around, but so far everyone has said this part isn't available.
Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Best,
    James Mockoski

P/M Joe from Mothertruckers, but the cable should be a choke cable and the bracket can be made.

Thank you.. I didn't think of a choke cable, and that could work nicely.

I'm a new member and can't send a PM for, some reason. I'm in need of one of these cabes and a mounting bracket for my 49 1/2 ton. What's the best way to get hold of you to order one?

I enabled PMs for you. Normally they're disabled at first for everyone and automatically enabled after a handful of posts due to some problems we've had with people coming here just to spam, but obviously that's not you. :)

This was when I first got it 3 years ago. I'm waiting on some transmission work to be completed, should be sometime next week. It's totally stock, just the way I like them. 216 engine is rock solid.

I also have a '54 GMC 350 flatbed with a 248 in it. The frame was extended before I got it and I had a friend build me a bed. I use it regularly for work, the guys at my local shop call it "The Deck".

Anyway so my 1/2 ton needs some heater parts including a new core but I'm having trouble finding what kind of switches and knobs I need, NOS parts of course.
