I have a serpentine belt system off a factory 1989 gmc 1500 305 on my classic truck.
I do not have the idler pully on my setup tht goes on the passenger side between the crank pulley and the a/c.
If anyone can send a pic of theirs I would appreciate it.
Would also be helpful to know if there is a spacer or washers or another bracket to mount

Here is a picture I found of a stock style set up, I have never seen one without an idler arm and pulley. I put an engine in a truck with older style heads but it had a newer block, and I ran a stock style serpentine set up with no problems.
