    Yep, that's my new description on ebay. I made my very first post and it will be my last. It is for a 1969 Camaro Z28 302DZ block. The fact that myself and a dozen others can vouch that it came in a new 69 Z28 that Mike Batt in Plano, Texas, bought for his then wife Beth means nothing because it doesn't have a VIN number stamped on the oil filter housing. The "gurus" say this is impossible and they don't give a damn about how many people would swear with their hand on a Bible that the engine came in Beth's new car. The car is remembered by many since Mike's Texaco station was the ONLY place back then that was open after 9pm and the Camaro was on it's third windshield in ten days. No car seats back then and their son Tony's head wiped out the first two. They needed a seat belt with a lock because he'd have it unlatched and be standing up on the seat in fifty feet even AFTER the two wipe outs. He's nearing fifty now and still hard headed.

    Don't sweat it Evan ;

    I've met so many liars and thieves on Flea-Bay it's astounding .

    The ' Internet Experts ' generally don't know diddly-squat .

    I too was recently called one of those , in truth , I was wrong but I never claim to be any ' Expert ' .

    I hear ya Evan. I spend quite a bit of time on the Team Camaro website. I'm not a Camaro guru, just the proud owner of a '69 SS and fan of the 1st and 2nd generation Camaro's.

    The Camaro guru's are a strange breed, as bad as 'vette guru's, I'd say they are worse.

    Check out this thread. A guy buys a Z/28, has it inspected by "the experts". Then the original owner of the car chimes in, tells the experts they are wrong, and they want to argue with him.

    Simply amazing.... http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=207776&page=7
