Anyone installed the vent shades from classic Parts? what are the metal clips for and where do they go? I am out of town right now so it might be obvious once i'm home and can see.
well I slide them up where they belong and they are pretty snug. Problem is where do those clips go? There is a very slight bend to them. Wondering if that has something too do with the clips. The ones on my 65 have two 1/16 screws.
Vent Shade Clips Well,,,, Larry Green Restorations of Cameron TX was able to instruct me that the window seal peels out. Then (With just a little effort) the clips pop in to hold the vent shades in place. After that, Just slip the seal back in over the clips. About three minutes per side.
I'm sorry ; I don't know how I missed this post ! . I bought these ' snap in ' Vent Shades for my '67 C/10 and wasn't impressed with those clips but in they went and no problems .
