I need to know if a 350 intake manifold will fit on a 283 and will a 1970 carb (4 barrel) fit on a 67.
In a word yes. The 283 ports might be smaller than the intake, depending on what the intake came off of and so there would be a port mismatch but the intake will bolt on. Compare the 2 against the intake gasket to see how close they are. The '70 carb is probably a Q-Jet, Right? If the 350 intake is for a Q- Jet you have no problem except for the choke connections which may be different from year to year. If your carb and intake came together then all you have to do is hook up the linkage. The Q-Jet is plenty of carb for a 283 but it should run great in normal driving with those small primaries. Tom
